greetings from the busiest starbucks in nyc. seriously, wtf. i can hardly breathe in here.
i'm working from here today because i can't be in my apartment for the next five hours or so...the exterminators came again today to try and get rid of our bed bugs. i apologize to anyone who has spoken to me within the past two or three weeks. it's consuming my life, this bed bug situation. i cannot describe to you how difficult it has been and how disgusting it is. and how CREEPY. the psychological effects alone are just ridiculous. i've been sleeping about five hours a night, with the lights on, wrapped in a newly-washed blanket....long pants, long sleeves....all in an effort to avoid getting more bites. i've probably had about 20 so far, and as;ldfjaslfkjsdflakjsdfsdf i'm just so over it. with everything i have going on right now, too - it really couldn't be WORSE timing. it's not the most convenient thing, to live out of plastic bags (in the hopes of suffocating any bugs that *may* have found a home in your clothing).
whatever, it could always be worse, right? enough complaining.
*NEWSFLASH*
I recorded the show I played at the Hotel Cafe in L.A. last month..er, in July, GEEZ where did August go???? Anyway, it's going to be available as a FREE DOWNLOAD in the next few days, so watch out - I'll post the link here shortly! It's not the best quality ever...and naturally, there were mistakes made. But hey, I'm human, and I think it's cool that I got to record it. SO. It's not the whole concert, but a good little taste.
*NEWSFLASH*
New recordings! I've been working on stuff with the awesome Cameron Mizell (www.cameronmizell. com), and our little projects are turning out really great. I just put up a new song on MySpace - it's called "Amuse Bouche (Small Town Love)" and I really, really like it. Thanks to Cameron for the sweet sweet guitar riff that regularly gets stuck in my head. Watch out.
Okay, this is getting long, so I'll sign off. I really need to go to the bathroom, but I don't want to lose my seat by packing everything up and taking it with me. But I always get nervous that it'll get stolen! what to do, what to do. I like how I can never decide whether or not to use capitals. sorry to all your grammar/spelling/capitalization nazis out there. love ya.
