Yes, it's true, I just returned home after a week or so on a boat with Lyle Lovett. And Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin, Brandi Carlile, Buddy Miller, John Hiatt, Emmylou Harris...the list continues.
I can honestly say it was the best vacation of my life, and I cannot wait to do it again.
I can't quite get over it, and as a musician, it provided me with a giant kick in the butt, powered with motivation and inspiration...a little inner-turmoil as well, but for the most part, I wish it would have never ended. I think I could rant and rave for ever and ever about how cool everything was, but I'll save that for personal blogs, I suppose.
